bQuest is a Community of Vetted and Verified Professionals
Becoming a bQuest Verified Professional
bQuest differentiates itself from other marketplaces and pro directory services by creating a curated and vetted community of professional service providers to support the needs of families navigating aging care, end-of-life and loss. In order to ensure we feature only the highest quality of professionals, each service provider must go through a standardized and thorough vetting process to become bQuest Verified.
Steps in the bQuest Professional Vetting Process
- Referral & Reference Check: All Professional Service Providers must be either a.) referred to bQuest by either an active bQuest verified Pro, b.) referred to bQuest by a client of the prospective Pro and/or c.) be a member of a partner association. For a.) and b.) referrals this can be achieved via use of our referral form.
- Attend an Info Session: Attend an informational session and learn about bQuest, what a membership offers, who is a good fit for the community, and the steps involved in our application process.
- Application: Each prospective professional service provider will then be asked to complete our application form where information is gathered on their education, qualifications, their approach and the standing of their business.
-
- Client approach
- Required Licensure/Certifications (see full list)
- Education
- Awards/Memberships to relevant Associations
- Proof of Business Insurance and State Business Good Standing
-
- Identity and Background Check: Lastly, once prospective professional service providers have submitted their application, they will be asked to complete an identity and background check process that verifies their identity and screens for criminal history. These checks are reviewed for any history that would directly or indirectly impact the quality of services provided to families. Background checks will be re-checked every three (3) years for each verified bQuest Service Provider.
- Capacity: To best support our families and our Professional Service Provider Community, each specialty will be capped based on a number of specialist to user ratio and within major metro geography areas. If the prospective professional service provider meets the above criteria AND the specialty they apply for has capacity, the professional service provider will be approved and moved into the onboarding process. If the specialty has reached capacity, the prospective professional will be notified of the reason and placed on a wait list until capacity is opened up.
- Review Process: To ensure bQuest maintains the highest quality professionals, each professional is subject to a re-evaluation as deemed necessary by bQuest. In addition, bQuest commits to reviewing the service area coverage by specialists to maintain the proper capacity of our professional community to individuals and families in need.
